    Michael has co-authored the Alternative Asset Classes module for the CFA UK’s Impact Investment Certificate and is a regular guest lecturer in the Impact Finance Innovations Programme at Oxford Saïd Business School.

  • Rwanda Waste Investment Strategy

    Driving alternative waste solutions through new commercial models with SMEs.


    We developed the partnership models and investment strategy for alternative waste projects in Rwanda, analysing over a dozen commercial models to advance sustainable solutions across solid, liquid, and medical waste streams, by collaborating with and growing small businesses.

  • Blue Green Bank

    Structuring a pioneering green trade and digital bank for the Caribbean.

    We assessed over 40 financial instruments to support the capitalisation of BGB with a target of more than USD 200 million in blended capital, building out its value proposition and positioning its unique digital and trade banking differentiators.

  • Nature for Water

    Co-founding a global platform for long-term watershed investment.

    As Program Director representing Pegasys - Michael helped design and/or implement over 15 watershed investment programmes and water funds across Africa and Europe, establishing Nature for Water as a global leader in long-term catchment investment.

  • Relèven

    Relèven is a charitable organisation with a vision to preserve and repurpose underutilised churches into vibrant community hubs and affordable housing across Canada. It targets hundreds of properties in disrepair, reimagining them as places where worship, community life, and social impact flourish together.

    Wineskins helped design and structure a $30 million Fund (with credit enhancement) to acquire and retrofit these church properties — restoring sacred spaces to serve again as centres of worship, belonging, and renewal.
